My Aunt Janie was always so kind, funny and strong. I remember growing up visiting her house in Houston and playing with my cousins. I remember her and my Uncle Richard never being mean to me or my brothers. My favorite memory with my Aunt Janie was when we got to spend her actual birthday with her. We spent time on the beach in South Padre and ate ice cream after. She was always smiling. I loved hearing stories of her and my grandma always bickering. They were the best of sisters. I remember Aunt Janie being so kind meeting my now husband for the first time. I will always remember Aunt Janie, the way I want to be remembered one day. She was an amazing role model and she was so loved. I feel like another little piece of our families puzzle is missing, and it’ll never be replaced. Aunt Janie and Uncle Richard raised the funniest children and grand children. I see her in them all the time....The last memories I have of Aunt Janie was for our baby shower. I wanted to have all my presents opened already so everyone could see them..and I get embarrassed opening gifts in front of people but Aunt Janie insisted. She wanted to see my reactions. And for her I did. I was having hot flashes and my attitude was poor and I wish it hadn’t been, because my Aunt Janie was the sweetest. She also got onto me for wearing heels while I was pregnant..so I only wore socks a couple of days later the next time I saw her. Haha... I wish I had hugged you a little longer. I see her in Heaven, sipping on a margarita on a beach somewhere. I love you Aunt, Janie.

I first met Janie through my training at BH Hair Studio. She was a haircut model for me a few times. Janie was the sweetest, most soft spoken lady until you got to know her more. She was sassy, strong and she loved her family. I am so sorry for your loss. Janie will be missed by so many but has been reunited with the love of her life. I will keep your family in my prayers to comfort you until you see her again. Love, Ginger

Jessica, so many years ago I met your mom. The first things I think about when I think of her was her smile and laugh. Your mother was so beautiful inside and out, she’ll be missed by so many. I know she’s with her loved ones in heaven laughing and catching up. I’m so lucky to have been able to see her not long ago and get to do some catching up myself. My love and prayers go out to you and your family during this time. Rest In Peace Janie.
