Jason was born in Brooklyn NY to Joachim and Marva Beckley on March 14th 1969. He went to school at Abeokuta Grammar School in Ogun State, Nigeria and continued his education at Shaw High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He continued to college in Houston,TX. He worked as a Medical Records Associate for MD.Anderson for years.
For the entirety of his life, he was the very image of strength and perseverance in the face of sickle cell disease. Living with the condition himself, he defied the odds time and time again. Through every challenge, he remained a source of light, leaving behind a life that was both impactful and deeply memorable to all who knew him.
Jason is preceded in death by his father, Joachim Beckley(2004).
Jason is survived by his Mother, Marva L. Beckley, his sisters, Monica Beckley Nzegwu and Jackie Beckley Ogunlana
