Javier is survived by his spouse, Maria Del Carmen Martinez; daughters Mayra Lopez and Kenia Lopez; sons Juan Jose Lopez and Francisco Javier Lopez; grandson Jose Maria Lopez, granddaughter Julieta Lopez and grandson Javier Lopez.
He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and husband. He will be dearly missed as he was and will always be very loved by his family. Javier loved cooking, baseball, collecting tequila bottles, and playing lotería. He was also a baseball player when he was younger and Houston Astros #1 fan and we know he is now playing baseball again in heaven. He will live in our hearts forever and until we meet again.
A visitation for Javier will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A rosary will occur Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A funeral service will occur Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 1:45 PM to 2:30 PM at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4419 North Main Street, Houston, TX 77009. A committal service will occur Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 2:45 PM to 3:15 PM at Historic Hollywood Cemetery, 3506 North Main Street, Houston, TX 77009.
