Jean Marie Marmarinou of Houston, TX passed away peacefully on May 23, 2023 at the age of 76. She was born on December 18, 1946 in New Orleans, LA where she made her early life, before moving to Houston with her family.
Jean worked as a Nurse in the Texas Medical Center where she retired after a long and fulfilling career.
She was preceded in death by her father Owen Waggenspack, mother Nita Waggenspack, sister Wanda Schilling, and brother Donald Waggenspack.
Jean is survived by her daughter Eleni Parks, son-in-law Buster Parks, grandsons Braydon Parks and Leighton Parks, and brothers and sister John, Walter, and Ann.
She spent her days loving her family, volunteering her time at church, and spending every moment possible with “Mamaw’s little whippersnappers”, Braydon and Leighton. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her kind and loving soul.
A private service was held with family on June 2, 2023.
