Jeannie Faye (Willis) Holsinger, age 74, of Porter, Texas passed away on Monday August 6, 2018. Jeannie was born May 18, 1944 in Watts, Oklahoma to Robert Willis and Melba Neeley Dixon.

Jeannie Faye was married to Larry Edward Holsinger on June 10, 1960. She had a career in food service for Aldine Independent School District. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary and had a passion for Christ and her family.

Jeannie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Larry Edward Holsinger; children and their spouses Tom Holsinger and his wife Pam, Maria Denney and her husand Robert, Deborah Kinder and her husband Ron, Susan Holsinger and her husband Chase and Patricia Lunday and her husband Dennis, siblings and their spouses Bert English and her husband Doyle, Linda Ayers and Jane Healy; grandchildren Shawn Holsinger, Chad Holsinger, Donald Eric Aiello, Brian Harris, Russell Harris, Jessica Graves, Johnsa Kennedy, Angel French, Kristen Rash, Kendall Lunday and Dylan Lunday and great-grandchildren Donald Aiello Jr., Cameron Kennedy, Kayden Walker, Caleb Kennedy, Sofia Chavez, Dominic Chavez, Zoe Harris, Madeline Harris, Kaleb Graves, Luna Mae Lessley and Ashton Brown.

Jeannie was preceded in death by; parents Robert Willis and Melba Dixon Neeley and her sisters Barbara Moore and Melba Dean Murphy.

A visitation for Jeannie will be held Friday, August 10, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home - Grand Chapel, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039 with a committal service to follow immediately at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A reception will occur immediately following the committal service at Brookside Funeral Home Grand Hospitality Suite.

Serving as pallbearers are Johnsa Kennedy, Brian Harris, Russell Harris, Donald Eric Aiello, Chad Holsinger and Shawn Holsinger.

So sorry for your loss,my heart hurts for each & everyone of you. Jeannie was a blessing to her children, grandchildren, husband, & everyone who knew her. I have many memories to cherish, and will deeply miss knowing she's no longer with us but she knew Christ and that warms our hearts cause we know she's rejoicing in heaven. Sorry I couldn't attend but my heart is there! Sending hugs & love to each of you! My family is sending their condolences. β€πŸ™πŸ™πŸ’š
