

Jeffery Allen Stallings, 63, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 at Methodist Hospital due to complications of Diabetes. Jeff generously donated his organs to Life Gift Organ Donation Center. Per his wishes he is being cremated.
Jeffery was born August 21, 1956 in Kermit, Texas to Jimmy Allen Stallings and Billie Lou Wiggins Stallings. He was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother Kevin David Stallings. They were waiting to greet him at Heaven’s gates.
He is survived by his wife, Cherie Leigh Smith Stallings. They enjoyed 32 years of marriage which included traveling all over the USA and 30+ cruises. Jeff also enjoyed caring for and playing with the pets they adopted from the Houston SPCA during their marriage.
Jeffery is also survived by his older brother, Larry Bruce Stallings, and wife Sharon O’Bannon Stallings of Victoria, Texas and niece and nephew.
Jeffery grew up in Texas and graduated from Refugio High School in 1974. He enjoyed playing sports and coaching young softball players. He attended Texas State University in San Marcos. After finishing college, in 1978 he was hired by Transco Pipeline Company which became Williams Companies. After 40+ years, in 2018, Jeff retired from Williams Companies.
A celebration of Jeffery’s life will be held with family and friends once the social distancing restrictions due to COVID-19 are lifted by the state of Texas.
