To my sweet, sweet papa. My bestfriend and one of my biggest supporters.
You were always there for me and I know you still are watching over us.

I remember the first time I ever met you, I was a senior in high school, driving home from school, my truck ran out of gas and I pulled into the closest entry which was the entrance to bayshore.
You were riding your lawn mover and you came over to ask if I was okay and, I said “yes sir but, my gas tank isn’t” you laughed and got back on your mower and rode over to the back of the church, you came back holding a gas jug and filled my tank enough to get to the nearest gas station. I had no idea who you were at the time but, I knew I’d never forget what you did for me.
Fast forward a couple months later when Josh and I first started dating, when I met you as his papa I immediately remembered who you were and knew you were a great man and, I’d be honored to be your grand daughter in law.

I am so blessed to have gotten the 5 years I got with you. I miss eating chips and cream cheese with you, playing candy crush on our phones and watching movies in the living room. You will forever be in our hearts. Thankyou for helping raise the man I'm marrying and taking me in as your own. We love and miss you so much already papa

To my Uncle Jerry, with the big smile and even bigger heart! I will remember you always as my Uncle who had many friends, knew everyone in LaPorte and was always there to lend a hand when needed. And, thank you for your service in the Air Calvary during the Vietnam war. You will be greatly missed but comforting to know you are Home. Love you Uncle Jerry💙

Dear Papa,

It’s hard to write something like this without breaking down into a 1000 pieces....Looking at all the comments and memories I couldn’t take it but to immediately start tearing up. I already knew what kind of impact you had on me and my life but to see everybody else and listen to everybody else’s story’s and the way you impacted their life is just simply amazing PaPa! I wanna personally thank u and nana for taking me and josh in and raising us as your own you didn’t have to do that by any means but u did and I could never thank u enough.. You taught me a lot of things in life growing up as a child but if it was one thing that always stuck with me was when we was in the truck and i told u I cant do it and u looked me and said “Boy can’t never could do nothin”! Lol ! I’ve always carried that with me everywhere I go because it taught somethin growing taught me to never give up, to keep pushing even when things don’t look so well, To be a man and take responsibility for MY actions. You taught me a lot papa I remember always getting up super early to go fishing with u down at the pier I also remember the day u bought me my first baseball helmet I was so excited I slept with my helmet right next to me that night ! I love u so much papa i could keep going for days! It calms my soul to know ur in Heaven now with The King 🤴 of ALL Kings no more pain no more suffering..I can honestly speak on behalf of the whole family when i say that your already missed !! I love you so much papa fly high & Rest In Peace until we meet again

Love ,
Your Grandson Cameron
