We are so sorry to hear the disturbing news of Jerry going home to be with his God. We just hear about it today (May 10). He was and will remain "one of a kind". Maxine and I regret that we did not attend the memorial but our prayers will be with you and your family. We will miss him dearly.

Mrs. Edwards and family, my deepest condolences to you. I will always remember both of you as Girl Scout leaders that taught me so much. I have many fond memories of those times. I will keep you in my prayers.

Don, Julie & famiy. It was with much sadness that I received Don's email. Growing up in Galena Park when we did was a wonderful time and place. I will always remember Jerry and Don stopping by the house after their paper route. And all the unforgettable memories from church, MYF, band, and high school. As I treasure and remember Jerry's devotion to being a dear friend and I know he was that and more as a brother, husband, father and grandfather, My deepest condolences to all of you..........Mary Katherine Turner Diaz (Atkins, Ar)

My deepest love to all of you, especially you Julie. Can't believe this has happened. I wish I were in Houston tonight to be there with you. I appreciated so much when you and Jerry went to Rebecca's office to carry her a prayer shawl before her surgery in San Diego. Much love,

This is so, so strange, Jerry growing older, then passing from our world. Julie, please know my heart is there to comfort yours. You and Jerry surely had a love story that few have. Love you so much. Jane Alexander
