Jerry Dewayne Phillips was born on September 15, 1940 in Dallas, Texas, and passed away November 17, 2013 in Houston after a brief illness. He was predeceased by his parents, Aubrey and Valla Ree Phillips, and his wife, Betty Phillips. Jerry is survived by his brother, Bobby Phillips, and his children: son Tim Phillips and wife Robin; daughter Terry Lowe and husband Robert; daughter Robin Phillips; and daughter Meredith Phillips. Jerry is also survived by his grandchildren, Madison Lowe, Parker Lowe, and Emma Phillips, in addition to numerous relatives and friends.
Jerry will be greatly missed by his family and friends. However, we take comfort in the knowledge that our dad was ushered into Heaven's gates to be re-united with his Creator, and with his beloved wife, Betty. We know Mom and Dad are up there dancing already, and we look forward to being re-united with them again one day. Until then, we will live out their legacy of family, love, and laughter.
Services will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013, Forest Park – Westheimer. Visitation will be at 1:00pm, with the service following at 2:00pm.
