Our family lost another Great man this week! I have many years of memories that I will remember forever. I always remember grandma keller at the holidays with all her cooking and preparing! She would always say uncle Jerry's coming, gotta make an extra pie! The man could eat like no one I've ever seen!
It will be difficult the next few weeks, months but he will always be watching over us now. Rejoicing with the God he so dearly served.
Luv u uncle jerry!

My favorite memory of Jerry - and there are many - involves our trip to Europe in 1996. Jerry had acquired a translating device that resembled a calculator that he could carry with him to translate English into the appropriate French word. Jerry and this device were the highlight of our days in Paris. He was so enthralled with this thing! He would enter the English word and wait for the French translation to appear on the screen - then he would announce what we should say. Needless to say, Jerry's pronunciation of the French was hysterical! And by the time he got the English entered and the French translation, we were way beyond the need for it. But he sure tried hard to be helpful!
Love you bro - will miss you tremendously!

I will always remember attending Jerry and Val’s wedding in the garden in Saranac, Michigan as a small child. We used to visit them in in Ionia and I will always remember their hospitality and graciousness. Jerry was all about family and he was such a loving person. Even though we didn’t see them often, I will miss him dearly and will always remember his love for his family and his Savior. Rest In Peace, dearest Jerry!

I'm sorry for your loss, Uncle Jerry was a very sweet man . I have so many memories of our childhood and family gatherings. I only wish I could have seen the family more and him too. He always had something kind to say, and he sure loved his family and God too. So I'll be seeing you in heaven someday Uncle Jerry 💙🙏. God Bless.

Jerry loved his God, his Savior, his family, his church, good food, and was a constant in whatever was needed by anyone. His heart and soul remained little boy like, and he loved to serve and laugh. His family will never ever run out of their good and cherished memories of their husband, father, grandfather. I’d be willing to bet that he already has his sleeves rolled up, waiting to help with whatever chore needs him in Heaven.
Are there motorcycles in Heaven ?????

It's difficult to imagine life without Jerry Sisson. I was 5 years old when Jerry started dating my big sister Valerie. He loved life and Valerie and that never changed. He was a constant part of all our family experiences, especially when there was pie!!

Jerry loved with all his heart and soul. His love of my sister, his family and his God ran deep and brought him joy. I will miss his strength, his big heart, beautiful smile and his laughter. Most of all I will miss witnessing and feeling his endless joy of loving.

My heart aches for Valerie and their family but I am certain the joy of Jerry's life and his love will remain with all of them forever.

Rest in Peace brother Jerry and keep holding Valerie.

Lovingly,
Laurie Gormsen
