SPC Jerson Caleb Barrondo

SPC Jerson Caleb Barrondo, age 22, of Houston, Texas passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021. Jerson was born at Ben Taub Hospital on March 4, 1999 to Olga Esperanza Cana Alecio Barrondo and Hugo Rolando Barrondo Sr.

He was married to the love of his life Jennifer Gomez on December 31, 2020.

SPC Barrondo was in the United States Army in Company C, 1st Battalion, 509th Infantry Regiment, JRTC & Fort Polk, LA. His MOS was 11B with a duty title of Machine Gunner.

SPC Barrondo is survived by his wife Jennifer Gomez; mother Olga Esperanza Cana Alecio Barrondo and father Hugo Rolando Barrondo Sr; brothers Hugo Rolando Barrondo Jr, Stephen Philip Barrondo, David Alejandro Barrondo and Joshua Isreal Barrondo; sisters Genesis Rachel Barrondo and Bess Angela Barrondo.

A visitation for SPC Barrondo will be held Monday, November 15, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A committal service will occur Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
