I worked with Jessie many years. He was a father figure to me and was genuine. He loved his family very much and I admired that trait. He would tell me stories of his youth and really make me laugh. I hadn't seen Jessie in quite a while since his retirement, but I would speak with him from time to time on the phone. I'll miss him, and am blessed to have had him in my life. My sincere condolences to Gloria and Joann.

R.I.P. Tio, you were my namesake of our proud Familia. You lived a full life not only with laughter but with Humility and Righteousness, traits that we as Guerrero's will always fulfill. Still remember the old Blue 53 Mercury, man what a car! Recall seeing you as a Reserve Deputy in uniform with a big old gun on your hip.Ran into one of your Buds [ Budweiser] on the golf course admiring him describe you in a unflattering way.Ran into a Mireles relative while working in Post Office and finding out not only was he building his new home by himself but finding out he was your brother n law! You were always held in high esteem for serving Our Country and not afraid to voice your opinion. Dad would bring me in Yellow Cab w/o meter running to show me your home on Genessee. They built condos around your home while your stood your ground. Wow,time is up,not enough rm to write all those wonderful memories. Its a Solemn time but also a time to Celebrate and Rejoice and Reflect.

Rest in Peace, Tio. I'll always remember your house on Genessee, even took my kids by there just to show them the little playhouse on the front yard. Tell Grandpa we said "Hi", may your loved ones find peace. - Edward Guerrero Reyna, Helen's son, Frank's grandson.
