Jesse J. Mullens, Sr., 83, of Houston, passed away on November 21. He was born in Calcasieu, LA on December 30, 1926. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Audie, four children, Jesse, Jr., (Lorna), Thomas (Linda), Jimmie (Sandy) and Carol Pruitt (Larry), three brothers, Alva “Sam” (Rita), Charlie (Linda) and Clyde (Lillian). Six grandchildren, Brian, Michael and Ashley Mullens, Rhiannon Smith, Alison and Jessica Pruitt and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery on Wednesday, November 24 at 11:30 a.m. with services to follow at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
