Jesus Benito Gallardo, age 90, was born on July 2, 1936, in Cordoba, Argentina, and passed away on October 27, 2026. A man of steady faithfulness and quiet strength, he will be remembered for the devotion he showed to those he loved, the honesty with which he lived, and the thoughtful wisdom he offered through a life shaped by perseverance and care for others.
Raised in Cordoba, Argentina, Jesus later began a new chapter when he moved to New York City in 1970, and then to Houston, Texas, in 1976. His journey reflected resilience and courage—meeting change with determination, working hard for what mattered most, and continuing forward with a generous spirit and a deep sense of responsibility.
On January 21, 1967, in Cordoba Argentina, Jesus married his loving wife, Beatriz Gallardo. Together they moved to the United States and raised their family, building a home grounded in loyalty, selflessness, and enduring commitment. He was a devoted husband and father whose compassion was felt in the everyday ways he showed up for his family, always with steadiness, patience, and care.
Jesus found his greatest joy in time spent with his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed watching his favorite soccer team, River Plate—an interest that brought him simple happiness and a lasting connection to what he loved. His presence will be deeply missed, and his legacy of generosity, bravery, and quiet guidance will remain with all who knew him.
Jesus is survived by his wife, Beatriz Gallardo; his sons, Marcelo Gallardo (Julia), Sergio Gallardo, and Jorge F. Gallardo (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Ana Gallardo (Alex), Sergio Gallardo Jr., Brittany Espinoza (Jeremiah), and Lionel B.
