Jesus M. Hernandez went to be with the Lord on January 29, 2022. He was born in Sain Alto Zacatecas on June 15, 1934. He was married to Mary Lucy Duran for 52 years. Jesus worked in construction for more than 25 years. He and his wife were active members of Saint John of The Cross in New Caney, Texas. He loved his family, fishing with his children, grandchildren and nephews. He also loved watching novelas on television with Lucy.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lucy; brothers Jose and Pedro; sister Asencion; children Thomas, Jesus Jr., Jose Luis, John, Manny, Bernadette, Jose, Patricio and Fernando; his step-children Gilbert, Irene, Norma, Rose, Virgil and Dioselina; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation for Jesus will be held Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a rosary service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
