Jesus is survived by his wife, Margarita Martinez (Diaz); his only daughter Jaqueline Martinez; his sons, Arnoldo, Cesar, Adolfo, and Santiago Martinez; his grandchildren, Jordan, Kayla, and Elijah; and his mother, Ana Maria Davila. He is predeceased by his father, Jose Martinez; and his sister Julia Martinez.
He was born in Zacatecas, Mexico on January 1, 1962, to Jose Martinez Rodriguez and Ana Maria Davila Martinez. He was the second child of 13.
Jesus married his best friend and love of his life “Maggie” as he called her, on January 5, 1985.
He came to the United States (Houston, TX) early on to seek a better life for his family. He was a driven, devoted, honest, hardworking man, who successfully owned his own business, Martinez Landscaping since 1988. He worked very hard but also loved to relax under his beloved “telapa” or canopy and enjoyed throwing big family gatherings. Jesus was a great son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who fought until his very last day.
