Jichun Yang, age 81 of Missouri City, Texas, a loving father, husband, brother, grandfather, and friend of many passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024. Jichun was born in Yuechi, Sichuan, China. He was a graduate of Northeast Petroleum University. As a member of the technical exchange expert group of the PRC's First Ministry of Machine Industry, Jichun was invited to Halliburton, Oklahoma for training and consultation programs. Many people loved their performances, and the Municipal TV station awarded them the Gold medal in 1983. Jichun was a person with a caring heart who loved to make friends. He had many friends in China, Oklahoma, Princeton, and Philadelphia. He moved to Texas and lived happily with his wife and daughter till his final moment. The family will bring his ashes to Hawaii where he can rest in peace eternally. He will be remembered by all of his friends and family forever in our hearts.

When tomorrow starts without me

And I'm not here to see

If the sun should rise and find your eyes

Are filled with tears for me

I wish so much you wouldn't cry

The way you did today

While thinking of the many things

We didn't get to say

I know how much you love me

As much as I love you

And each time you think of me

I know you'll miss me too

But when tomorrow starts without me

Please try to understand

That an angel came and called my name

And took me by the hand

And said my place was ready

In Heaven far above

And that I'd have to leave behind

All those I dearly love

But when I walked through Heaven's gate

I felt so much at home

When God looked down and smiled at me

From his great golden Throne

He said this in eternity

And all I promised you

Today your life on Earth is past

But here starts a new

I promise no tomorrow

For today will always last

And since each day's the same way

There's no longing for the past

So when tomorrow starts without me

Don't think we're far apart for every time you think of me

I am right here in your heart
