Jim “Hank” Newquest Jr. departed this dimension 16 August 2011. He battled leukemia and bone marrow transplant complications since 2009. Prior to that he lived every day like it was his last. The great people at MD Anderson could not right his ship. He is survived by his wife, inseparable companion, and best friend Julie Boyd Newquest who always had his back. Additional survivors are his loving parents, Big Jim and Faye Dean and ambitious niece Krissy Posey. His in-laws Jay, Kay Boyd and Jo Ann Stewart were constant supporters as well. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 20th at 2pm at Forest Park Westheimer, 12800 Westheimer, Houston, TX 77077.
