Jim graduated from Austin High in 1947. After graduating from high school, he attended A&M and graduated in 1952. Jim worked at Shell Oil from 1953 to 1988 as a construction manager.
Jim is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Larry, Clay and Jenni; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Allison, Lindsay, Tyler and Lissa; great-grandchildren, Hudson and Mia Sophia.
