Jimmy R. Gibson

Jimmy was born on December 15, 1948 in Hempstead, TX. Jimmy was a dedicated husband, father and Papaw. He devoted his life to his family and was employed by MP Security where he served as a night guard. He was a very passionate man and there is nothing he wouldn’t do for his family.

His interests included watching and discussing sports and wrestling. He was dedicated to his work and family. He especially loved spending time with his grandkids and great nieces and great nephews. He loved to talk and was always good for a story or laugh. He loved his life and was a devoted family man.

He is survived by his wife, Tammie Gibson, of 37 years, his 2 sons, Christopher Gibson (wife Stephanie) and Tommy Kingston, (wife Rachel ); 5 grandkids: Tyler, Kanin, Cooper, River and Luke. He is also survived by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

A gathering of family & friends for Jimmy will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 9:45 AM in the Large Hospitality Room at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, followed by a graveside service at 10:00 AM.
