I will keep strong and keep doing everything that I can do to fulfill my dreams and I know that's what you would have wanted.and still want. and again pawpaw I love you and miss you. and I'm taking good care of cierra also. ;) love you more.

I miss Jim!  I can't remember a time in my life when our family wasn't  "celebrating" something.  When the sisters (the Goodson Girls) Maude, Edna, Ethel and Jennie gathered with their  husbands and children there was food, fun and laughter--lots of it!
Jim, Ruth Ann, and the Kids continued the tradition and my memories are many and wonderful.

Jim was a man who believed in family. He was there for them and they were there for him, especially during his illness. He fought with the same strength and humor that he had used all of his life. 

Jim accomplished many things in his life, but none was more important to him  than to be loved by family and friends. Our hearts are saddened by his passing. We are comforted that he is with our other family and our God.  Our love, Pam & Mike

We will celebrate his life everyday in some way or another.  He was a great father and inspired many people through his life.  I learned so much from him and my mother.  He accepted Roger like his son.  Just as everyone has said he treated everyone with respect and in return many people respected him,which drove him to inspire more. We have been so lucky to have such a wonderful mother and father.  My father had a wonderful life and my mother had a lot to do with that. So thank you mom for everything that you have done in my life and Dad loved you so much and cherished every moment with you right up to the end. With Great love of memories and Great Respect

Jimmy and I were boyhood friends. As lads we both went to the same church. I knew both his parents very well.

We played on the same baseball teams for several years and on the Jeff Davis football team.We fished and hunted together. Of all the great men I have known, Jimmy was one of the finest. God bless him.

Jimmy I will miss seeing you on the jobs, walking the job sites with you over the years we shared lots of stories about our families and good times. You are a legend in the construction industry, and your memory will always make me smile.

I'll miss you Jimmy. I am privileged to have know you for many years.  I'll also miss the "hello mr goddard", (in sequence) greetings when we ran into one another. God Bless.

I will miss Uncle Jimmy very much! I always had so much fun at the Goddard's home. It was always filled with games,good food and laughter.

Jimmy was a great man that loved his wife,daughters and grandsons.  I had the pleasure of working with him at WSBCC.
He was a great fisherman, hunter and love to cook and entertain his friends. 
He was a superintendent that gave his all to his job.  Jimmy will be missed.

Thoughts and prayers to the extended family. Juanita and I are Jefferson Davis grads [1956] and remember Jimmy well.

Uncle Jimmy was a wonderful man who loved his family and friends.  I have many fond memories visiting the Goddard's.  Love you all.

Hugs and prayers to my aunt Ruth Ann and cousins Karen, Angie and Renee! What a wonderful man Uncle Jimmy was. My memories of a home filled with life, fun, love and music. I loved my visits to The Goddards. I was blessed to know Uncle Jimmy, but most of all thankful of the visits we had in the last two years.

To an Uncle and family that loved life and family. Growing up I was ALWAYS welcomed to visit during the holidays. I stayed with them all the time. Jimmy flew me in a small plane to Houston for a visit. I loved ALL my visits with the family. Uncle Jimmy ALWAYS made me a part of their family! YOU WILL BE MISSED.

Jimmy was a splendid outdoorsman and loved to entertain and cook for lots of people . I have many fond memories of our family deer lease with all the ( family ) . We will miss him dearly .
