Jimmy Sam Ricca was born April 20, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea from May 16, 1952 until May 19, 1960 and was Honorably discharged from the Army on May 15, 1960. Jimmy worked for Brazos River Authority for 38 years. He passed away on July 7, 2017 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Leona. Stepdaughter Sandra Clancey, 5 grandchildren: Lauria and husband Scott Harkey, Tammy Cox and husband Aaron Malejko, Valerie Roeben, Kristi Roeben and Brett Cox, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
A visitation will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home 12800 Westheimer Road on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 9:00AM followed by a funeral service at 10:00AM. Interment to follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
