Jimmy had a passion for music especially Elvis Presley. He also collected music memorabilia. Jimmy loved God and his family.
Jimmy is predeceased by his father, Joseph Henry Slaughter, grandparents; Irene Folks, James M. Dyke, Mary Slaughter, Shorty Eli Slaughter.
Jimmy leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Bettie Jo Dyke, sisters; Deborah Hendrix, Cathey Patton, Sherry Slaughter, Ruby Slaughter, Lala Mae Wooten, Carolyn Pleasant, Becky Slaughter and Mary Vest, other relatives and friends, Kimberly Spruiell, Ronald Spruiell, Venus Richardson, Joseph Luis Valencia, Joe Valencia.
The family will receive family and friends on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Brookside Funeral Home from 4 pm to 6 pm. The funeral service will be on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Brookside Funeral Home at 10 am. The internment will be at Brookside Memorial Park.
