Jo Ann was a member of Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic as a child and later in life became of member of First Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Charles J. Carter, Jr.
Jo Ann was educated in the Houston Independent School District and worked as a Home Health Care provider.
Our GOOD AND GRACIOUS GOD delivered Jo Ann from her severely sick body to her heavenly home on May 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Eva Jefferson and her younger brother, Jerry Jefferson.
Jo Ann leaves to cherish her memories her precious cat–Peetie, a very special friend – Donald Coleman; siblings– Jeffery Jefferson and Veronica Perry (James Jr.); nephew –James III; neice – Jamie; aunt – Jane Arceneaux; cousins– Angela Arceneaux, Phalon Arceneaux, Howard Smith, Courtland Martin, Rashard Smith, other relatives.
