JoAnn Marie Cangemi Territo

JoAnn Marie Territo of Katy left this world peacefully on November 4, 2012 to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. JoAnn was born in Mumford, Texas on March 4, 1932. The daughter of Tony and Frances Cangemi, she was married to Paul L. Territo for 44 years. JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband Paul, father Tony, mother Frances, sister Mary Mistretta, and brother Sam Cangemi. She is survived by her daughter Mary Novak and her husband Bobby, son Lee Territo, son Paul Territo, Jr. and his wife Jodi, daughter Antoinette Chelakis and her husband Forrest, daughter Michelle Wilganowski and her husband Michael, daughter Sharon Chesser and her husband Tim, and son David Territo and his wife Sherry. JoAnn is also survived by her 15 loving grandchildren and 11 loving great grandchildren.

JoAnn was very loving and caring to all who were blessed to know her. She enjoyed painting, arts and crafts, and sewing.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 6, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. A Rosary Service will be at 7:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday November 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, 1530 Norwalk Drive, Katy, Texas 77450. Burial will follow in the Garden of Gethsemani at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, Texas 77023.
