I have such fond memories of when I was young and we would stop by and see you on our way to Galveston, you and mother would cook sauce (gravy) and pasta, and we would have fresh crabs. Thanks for giving me those happy memories. I love you and will miss you. Your cousin, Angela

Having only been at Walsingham 6 years I kept hearing the name Joanne Goulas and all that she had done for the church, including that she loved Bingo! When I saw Joanne for the last time in the walkway one Sunday, just 4 weeks before she passed, I whispered in her ear that I was headed to California where Bingo is alive and well would she like to come!. She looked at me, smiled and reminded me that Bingo is how she was able to contribute to the parish a part of its building, all because of Bingo!. When she was in Mass I would quietly come in behind where she was sitting and kiss the top of her head with out speaking a word, she just smiled.

Although my sweet cousin was one of the “older” cousins, she alway found time for me. I have many memories of our times together. I watched all her kids grow up and loved our times together. Garner State Park times were the best. Love you sweet lady. Karen Kay.
