i never met him but i bet he was good to my big borther and big sister

I feel like I could leave an entire book about Joe and my life. I have such a mixture of memories. Some bad, some good and a lot great. I always felt like I was in a battle with him over my husband's attention. He loved him so much. But if I hadn't met Joe 20 years ago, I would've never met my husband. I remember him giving me "the talk" about my relationship with Stacy because he was looking out for him. I remember him loving the sandwiches I would make for him and Stacy when they were gonna have a long day at work. I remember taking him and Joseph to Water World with us on a free day pass. I remember being so happy for him when he finally settled down with Janet. It's so hard when you lose someone that you really cared so much about, especially on your birthday, but what's crazy is that we just didn't spend as much time together the last few years as we should have. I remember 2 weeks ago he and Stacy talking about us coming over and BBQing. I'm sad that didn't get to happen. Would've been nice. I'll miss you Joe. Rest in peace, my friend.

I am so thankful to have shared so many good memories with Joe.  The thing I will remember the most is the way he laughed.  I am also thankful for his wife Janet who blessed him with so many years of happiness.  I will miss you Joe.

Joe was a great friend,we spent many of nights at the creek driving trucks and telling stories. The things I will miss most is his laugh and telling stories around a bon fire at the creek. We will always miss and love you Joe

We have so many fond memories of Joe. I can still hear the noise he made when he would romp through a mud hole, Spring Creek runs and just hanging out. Joe, Mitch and Wes were inseperable back in the day. Joe was a great friend and a wonderful dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with his children and wife. Joe was a great person and friend to my hsband and I. Joe and his children were the only friends we had at our wedding. We have so many memories of muddin in spring creek and hanging out. I can hear the noise he would make when he would romp on it through a mudhole. Mitch and i both worked with him layin floors. My husband and i dont have 1 memory of texas without joe and joseph in it. Mitch, Wes and Joe were always together, inseperable. I remember one night we were all hanging out at our house and i pulledout my grandpas old bebe gun and i pulled the trigger not knowing that it was loaded, we were all laughing until we looked at joe and there was blood coming down his arm. I shot him, mitch took him to the er and it turned out where the bullet was stuck they couldnt remove it, so he was stuck with it. He was laughing and said now ill never forget you, well joe ill never forget you. Im sure there is so much more i want to say but for now my thoughts and prayers are with joes friends and family.
