Joel Garcia

Joel Garcia, 57, of Pasadena, Texas passed away on May 2, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Joel was a 1st class machinist and fabricator and he instilled his knowledge on countless others throughout his career. During his free time Joel enjoyed fishing, playing poker, fast cars and flying his radio controlled helicopters and drones. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 35 years, Connie, his mother Rosie Fields, children; Sonya Garcia and Joel Garcia Jr , siblings; Carlos Fields, Gloria Escobedo and Cynthia Jalil grandchildren; Gabriel, Elena, Daniel, Ariyana, Saybin, and Luis, and three great grandchildren. Also left behind are his brothers in law; Alex, Rene, Sohail, Jose, Apolonio Jr. and George, sisters in law; Tina, Irma, Elsa, Sofie, Rose and Norma, numerous nieces and nephews and countless other family members and friends. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 5-9 PM with the rosary recited at 7PM. Funeral services will commence at 12:30 PM on Monday, May 8, 2017. All services will be held at Crespo Funeral Home on Broadway, located at 4136 Broadway St. in Houston, Texas 77087 and interment will immediately follow at Forest Park Lawndale located at 6900 Lawndale St. in Houston, Texas 77023.Arrangements under the direction of Crespo Funeral Home - Broadway, HOUSTON, TX.
