Joel Guerra

Joel Guerra, 84, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025. He was born on November 21, 1940, in Agualeguas, Nuevo León, Mexico. On August 10, 1958, Joel married the love of his life, Delia, with whom he shared 67 wonderful years. He worked in the steel mill industry at New Process Steel, where he dedicated many years of hard work before retiring 23 years ago.

Joel was known for his generous heart and passion for helping others. He touched many lives with his kindness and strong spirit.

He is preceded in death by his beloved children, Joel Angel, Aracely, and Inocente (Chente).

Joel is survived by his devoted wife, Delia, and his children Juan Antonio, Maria Guadalupe, Jose Arcadio, Jorge, and John Anthony. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one cherished great-great-granddaughter, all of whom were the pride and joy of his life.

Joel’s memory will live on in the love he shared and the many lives he blessed.

A visitation for Joel will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A eulogy will occur Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 6:00 pm, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A chapel service will occur Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 10:00 am, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A committal service will follow Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 11:30 am at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd, Houston, TX 77075.
