It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved son, Joey Leslie Jackson, age 41, of Houston, Texas. He passed away on August 7, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 16, 1984, to Veronica (Hernandez) Santos and Gilbert Jackson. He loved music, family and the Lord.
He is survived by his mother Veronica, step-father, Antonio Santos; his brother, Paul and wife, Cassandra; step-sisters, Lisa Santos (Jasper Canchola) and Patricia Santos; his partner, Jessica Flores; his children, Alexis Laura Jackson (Ivy Lozano), Braeden Joey Jackson, Cairo Lijah Jackson; and grandson, Mylo La’Veon Wilson and many cherished family members.
A visitation for Joey will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Brookside Funeral Home (Grand Oak Chapel),13747 Eastex Fwy., Houston, TX 77039.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Brookside Funeral Home (Grand Oak Chapel),13747 Eastex Fwy., Houston, TX 77039.
A Committal Service will be held at the gravesite following the celebration of life at Forest Park East Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Fwy., Webster, TX 77598.
