

John Brady passed away peacefully on December 27, 2010 at Baywind Village in League City, TX. John or “J.C.” as so many of his friends and family knew him by was born October 17, 1933 in Lonoke, Arkansas to the late Susie and Forrest Brady. He grew up and attended school in Galena Park, TX and went to U of H where he became an electronic engineer. John lived in Houston the majority of his life, working as a TV/electronic serviceman, salesman, a franchise Owner of several Curtis Mathes Dealerships and after retiring went to work for Bill Bounds Nursery selling all types of hardwood trees to residential and commercial clients in Houston and surrounding counties. “J.C.” is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Katherine “Kathy” Brady and his ex-wife, Annette Lorback. His legacy of hard work, strength and love for his family will be cherished by his daughter, Deborah “Debbi” Simmons of Texas City, TX; Kathy Logan and husband, Marc of Bastrop, TX; Linda Dillard of Dickinson, TX . Stepchildren, Deborah and Kevin Greer, Earnie French of Joplin, MO; Donna and Thurl Harris of Coveville, VA; grandchildren, Joey Johnson, Tara Morales, Tamra Johnson, Brandy Stubba, James Simmons and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2010 followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. with internment to follow at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. Pastor James Simmons will be officiating.
