Like so many others, John Bryan left a mark on my heart that I'll carry forever.

When I think about John, it's not one big moment that comes to mind. It's all the little things. The random phone calls out of nowhere. The text messages on holidays wishing me and my family well. The memes he'd send just because he knew they'd make me laugh. The stories that you just cant make up. Finding a hole in the wall place to kick back and relax after a long day.

The thing about John was that he genuinely cared about people. He wasn't checking in because he had to. He was checking in because that's who he was. He made time for people and genuinely cared for others.

I’ll miss my friend. I'll miss seeing his name pop up on my phone. I'll miss hearing his voice saying “Chewy”. I'll miss laughing with him or talking smack on game day with him when our teams played each other. My heart is heavy, but I feel incredibly blessed to have known him and to have called him a friend. Thank you, Chewy, for the laughs, the stories, the friendship, and the memories.

Rest easy, my friend. You will be missed more than words can say, remembered often, and forgotten never. ❤️

John will always be remembered for his warm smile, brilliant and quirky personality! He was my brother, my friend and he loved the Lord. He was brilliant, fun, and always encouraging others! I know he is with our Heavenly Father now. Love you JB, Kristie
