Continued thoughts and prayers for Betty, Carrie, and Traci - I remember your loving home, the cottonwood trees, and trips with your family. My thoughts and prayers are with Betty and her family in this time of grief.
John & I were first cousins.  Uncle Pat & Aunt Enid brought their family to
Kopperl, Texas every summer.  That was the bright spot in our year when they came to visit. Irene was my age and John and Jimmy played together.

I remember those early years in the old East End, Sherman and Hagermann, Eastwood Elementary.  Its hard to to get separated from the real friendships we formed then.  But they also bring back good ole memories of playing till after dark with no worries, no TV to interrupt, or all those other distractions we have now.  Thanks for the memories.
