John and I were best friends at Purdue. What a great guy! I am so sorry to have just learned of his passing. 

John and I have been GREAT friends since he hired on with Shell in the late 60's.  We have supported each other through good times and sad times.  John was a great memory maker and I have about 50 years of great memories that I have because of John and most of them bring a big smile to my face.  He and I were "Pods" to each other.  I will miss you Pods.

I knew John for many years and he was a great guy.  I am so sorry for your loss and our prayers go out to you.  I just heard this sad news and am in Tennessee now; I will not be there but will be thinking of John and you all.  John offered me a sanctuary in a tempestuous time in both my personal and professional life; and, he helped me to cope with a difficult transition.  I am forever grateful for his help.  I know that he will be missed.  

I worked with John at the Shell Information Center. He was such a super person and will be missed by many! My deepest sympathy to his family! Rest In Peace, John!

My deepest sympathy to John's family.   I will keep the memory of John walking his dog(s) in the park.  I could see him from my kitchen window.

John was the GREAT ORGANIZER!  His Tucson golf spreadsheet lives on forever!

My heart goes out to all in the Clark family and to the many friends who knew John.   My memories involve golf and Tucson, AZ. He was THE GREAT ORGANIZER and kept voluminous notes on EVERYTHING! This included the food at breakfast, how cute the waitress was, and how many strokes everybody had at golf each day.  John was a decent man and rarely said an unkind word about anybody.  He will be missed and I am happy that I have nothing but great memories from out times together.  RIP John!!
