A Celebration of Life service will be held at Howard-Glendale Funeral Home, 1015 Federal Road (at 1-10 East) on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. Immediately following will be a reception at the Alvin Baggett Community Center, 1302 Keene Street in Galena Park (next to the High School).
The family would like to thank the innumerable people who have been kind, loving, helpful and supportive during this trying time, among them his numerous close friends and co-workers including honorary pallbearers Richard Cofer, David Farrington, Carlos Flores, Eric Freeland, Chris Lessman and Randall Vincent, Sr.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that interested individuals “pay it forward” to some worthy charity or individual in need. Lane would appreciate that.
Lane will best be remembered for his friendliness, kindness and abundant generosity of spirit. None who knew him will ever forget his infectious smile. While Lane’s final hours were briefly touched by an uncharacteristic sadness, his life was a beacon of light and love to all.
