

John Loren Gaudette, age 63, of Katy, Texas, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2010. John will be remembered by all for his love, humorous and sharp wit, and blue eyes. He was a Vietnam veteran serving his country in the U.S. Army and a graduate of the University of Houston. John was a Certified Public Accountant and a partner in his firm for 34 years.
Some of John’s hobbies included being a vintage race car driver, a racing enthusiast, outdoorsman and a lover of the lake and fishing. He had once enjoyed being a Boy Scout Leader for his two sons.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Victor A. and Charlene K. Gaudette. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Wendy M. Gaudette; his sons, Robert Gaudette and wife Shannon and Sean Gaudette and wife Gayla; his grandchildren, Davis, Ansley, Addison and Sophie Clare; his brothers, Philip and Richard Gaudette; his sister, Vicki Munro; his loving step-mother, Dorothea Gaudette; and many other relatives and friends.
Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 6 until 8 PM on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024. A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 10 AM on Friday, August 13, 2010 at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Catholic Church, 5356 Eleventh Street, Katy, TX. A graveside service and committal will follow in Klein Memorial Park Cemetery, Tomball, TX.
John’s family would like to especially thank Dr. Keith Fernandez, Dr. Javier Lafuente, and the nurses and staff of Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital.
