John Allen Henry, 71, entered eternal rest on February 18, 2019 in Houston, Texas. He was born December 26, 1947 in Frost, Texas. John graduated from Smiley High School. He later started his own business, B&H Tire & Transportation. John loved Nascar racing and going to the rodeo.
John is survived by his daughter: Annjeanette Griffin & husband John; siblings: Fran and John Hardin, Jim & Vicki Brown; grandchildren: Alyshia, John Jr., and Tray; great grandchildren: Jayden and Cameron; brother in law: Wayne Loven; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 22nd from 6pm to 8pm at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Fwy. Houston, Texas 77039. Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church North Houston, 4422 Lauder Rd. Houston, Texas 77039 on Saturday, February 23rd at 10am. Interment will follow on Monday, February 25th in Dresden Cemetery, FM 744 Barry, Texas 75102 at 1pm.
Donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Food Pantry at First Baptist Church North Houston would be greatly appreciated.
