Johnny will always have a special place in the heart of anyone who knew him - he always gave so much, and expected very little in return.

I remember in the mid 1940's you and Houston taking myself and your sister, Eva Lee, on rides on the back of an old logging truck. We were having so much fun until Grandma made us get off and said no more rides. Another memory is not so many years ago, my husband and I visiting your and Maryoln's home and you going fishing, then deep frying catfish which was served with Marolyn's hush puppies and black eyed peas--best meal ever. After being separated so many years when my family moved to Maryland and your family moved to Texas, it was so great that we were able to reunite so many years later. My thoughts, prayers and love go with you! Cousin Frances.
