He graduated from Sam Houston High School Class of 1962. Family owned business of 50 years.
He enjoyed Fishing, Hunting, old classic cars, in his later years tending to his large Vegetable Garden & his two acre landscape of beautiful flowers!
Him and his Junebug (Carole), would visit nurseries all over East Texas looking for unique Plants to add to their lovely property filled with lots of Texas Wildflowers & Perennials, Daylilies and Roses galore! & occasionally checking out the Texas Burger N Buc-ee's they came across!
When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, the outdoors and most definitely was happiest when all his kids, grandkids and great grandkids all gathered together, rather it be vacationing on the Nueces River, Bird Hunting or Deer Hunting in South Texas, celebrating holidays or just cooking (BBQ’ing) on the weekends.
He lived life to the absolute fullest- faithful to his friends and family always- he never met a stranger and anyone that crossed his path walked away with a laugh and beautiful memories.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary & Jack Morris.
Memories of John will be cherished by his survivors, his wife of 59 years, Carole Morris; three daughters, Kelley Ebin, Kristen Kinner, Kari Morris; eight grandchildren, Megan Ebin, Austin Ebin, Dylan Ebin, Chaz Kinner, Conner Kinner, Cody Kinsel, Alyssa Pena, Joshua Pena; two great-grandchildren, Luke Egbert, Mila Egbert; brother Rick Morris and sister, Bonnie Garcia.
