John M. Tellier, a proud veteran of the Army, passed away in the early morning hours of February 9, 2025. John proudly served for a total of 14 years, including being moved back to service in 2004 to defend his country for Operation Iraqi Freedom. During his years of service John earned a multitude of awards. He courageously served his country with honor, integrity and faith.
John is survived by his loving wife Rebecca Parrish Tellier; his children, Justin Tellier, Shelby Tellier, Nichola Tellier, Autumn Tellier, Kayla Jenke, and AJ Jenke; his grandchildren, Serenity Gurley, Landon Gurley, Connor Gentry, Melody Tellier and Evelynn Jenke; his siblings Tracy Tellier and Nichola Dacruz; his nieces and nephews, Chris Teller, Amber Dacruz, Tyannah Martinez and William Parrish.
John was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him.
A visitation for John will be held Monday, February 17, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038. A funeral service will take place on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM following the viewing. A committal service will occur Monday, February 17, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
