Johnathan E. Davis

Johnathan Everette Davis went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at the age of 48 years old. Johnathan was born on January 10, 1972, in Houston, Texas to the parents of Selester Otis and Lillian Davis.

Johnathan was a proud member of The Luke Church in Humble, with an unconditionally love for his family, specially his peanut (Makayla). Johnathan had a heart of gold and love people, listening to zydeco, blues and country music while sitting under the stars with a cooler full of ice-cold beer was his life, the simple things is what he enjoyed the most.

Johnathan was preceded in death by his father Selester Davis, and his grandparent’s Jodie and Marie Davis and Earl and Otelia Celestine.

He is survived by his mother, Lillian Hardy, godmother Loicy Johnson, daughter Jianna Hampton (Dominique), grandchildren A’necia Hampton, Dominique Hampton Jr., and Kae’Jun Hampton, as well as his brothers Anthony Davis Sr. and Courtney (Manuela) Davis. A host of nieces and nephews, friends, and extended family who miss him dearly.

The visitation services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 1:30 pm to 2:30pm, and the Homegoing Services will began at 2:30 pm in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039 followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
