Johnnie N Wade

Johnnie Nell Wade, born on April 29, 1935, in Blair, TX was the daughter of the late E.H Brown and Mossie Brown and was the youngest sister of the late Orville Brown & Madalyn Wilson. She departed this earthly life on Friday, December 23, 2022 at the age of 87.

She is survived by her two children: Jackie of Cypress, TX (sons Brandon and John, and daughter Amanda), Teddy Wade of Houston, TX (wife Darlene and son Teddy Jr and daughter Katy) and the late Gaylon Wade of Houston, TX (wife Sherry, sons Jason and Andrew); as well as her extended family and several great grandchildren.

Through the years, Johnnie enjoyed fishing with her husband and family, gardening, sewing, cooking for her family and hosting family reunions at her beautiful lake house, dancing at the country and western hall and making friends wherever she went. Johnnie was a stranger to no one and found great purpose sharing in the successes, joys, and challenges of those around her. Johnnie was authentically and wholeheartedly there for those in her life

Her heart of this world may have failed but her spirit was stubbornly strong.

Her funeral will be held at Memorial Oaks funeral home and cemetery at 13001 Katy Fwy Houston, Texas 77079 at 10:00 A.M. on January 09, 2023
