

JOHNNIE LOYCE WIECHMANN, a long-time resident of Houston, Texas, entered her eternal home on December 23, 2013. She was met by her Lord and Savior whom she anticipated seeing face to face for many years; and other family members who had preceded her. She was born to the late John Martin Sauls and Mary Bernice Sauls on July 18, 1934 in Corrigan, Texas.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years, Doug; son, Mike and wife Nadya; daughters, Darlene Perrin and husband Jerry; Sue Krupp; Pam McCain and husband Stuart; and Terry; 13 grand-children and 3 great grand-children; sisters, Wanda Matthews of Conroe, Texas and Joyce Read of LaGrange, Texas; brother, Layne Sauls of Conroe, Texas; and with many other loving family members and friends. She was a loving wife and proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her faith and Jesus Christ was the number one priority in her life and her family was a strong second.
Loyce was employed at Texas Employment Commission in a supervisory position and retired after 23 years of service. Loyce was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church in Houston and stayed faithful until her illness. She was faithful in many roles and positions in the Church which included; playing the organ and piano; and teaching Sunday school.
The services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
