Johnny Roy Allen went to be with his Heavenly Father August 14, 2026. Johnny Roy was the youngest of seven children of Kathryn and Ira Allen. He was born in Houston, Texas August 12, 1951
Johnny attended Houston Public Schools, Booker T. Washington and Kashmere High School.
Johnny accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at Hill Zion Baptist Church. He later joined Community Of Faith Church and sang in the choir.
Johnny enjoyed spending time with his family and singing. He also enjoyed worshiping with his family at First Central Garden M.B. Church under the leadership of late Pastor Rennie Kinney.
His wife, Ethel; both parents and five siblings, Luther, Robert, James, Doris and Shirley, all preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory; a devoted sister, Wilma Kinney (Houston, TX); along with many nieces, nephews and other dear relatives and friends
