

He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1971-1977. He then married the love of his life Martha Luna Montemayor in 1975. He was an accomplished businessman who owned his own trucking company for over 30 years.
Johnny led a very happy, active life filled with family, friends, and many adventures. Aside from being an entrepreneur, golfing, fishing with family, last minute trips to the casino and spoiling his grandchildren was his passion. He was a loving husband, protective father, the best grandpa, and an honest friend who always spoke from his heart.
He is preceded in death by his mother Louisa Gutierrez and step-father Lawrence Oliver Weeks. He is survived by his wife Martha Luna Montemayor, his brother Felipe Montemayor Jr. and wife Sarah, sister Lupe Hernandez and her husband Paul. Left to carry on his traditions are his children John and his wife Merisa, James and his wife Giselle. His legacy will continue through his six grandchildren; Texas, Johnny Ace, Isabelle, Monty, Victoria, and Dominic.
