Jonathan Peter Kurukji, age 47, of New Caney, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022. He was born in Burton on Trent on January 25, 1975 to parents Moayed Kurukji and Susan Kurukji. Jonathan graduated from Derby University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. He met Julie at a Starbucks in Humble, Texas for a blind date and that was the beginning of their love story. Jonathan went on to marry Julie on June 10, 2022. Jonathan had a career in Finance at Nova 401K for 8 years. He had a passion for dogs and supported organizations that fostered and found homes for homeless dogs.
He is preceded in death by his mother Susan Kurukji.
Jonathan is survived by his beloved wife Julie Kurukji; father Moayed Kurukji; brothers Neil Kurukji, and Daniel Kurukji; stepson Jerry Hadley.
Serving as pallbearers are Daniel Kurukji, Jerry Hadley, Clinton Eppinette, Alexander Eppinette, Sergio Garcia, Christopher Sena, Ashton Eppinette and Robbie Gunnels.

A visitation for Jonathan will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM. A committal service to follow at 12:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park.
