Growing up in Houston, Texas, Jonathan attended Langham Creek High School where he graduated in 2001. Jon was a member of the tennis team at Langham Creek and then followed in the footsteps of his older siblings by working at the local Randall’s grocery store before graduation.
After high school, Jon graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas where he studied Business Administration. He moved to Austin, Texas in 2005, and enjoyed all that Austin and the Texas Hill country had to offer - live music, festivals, eclectic bars, trendy restaurants and the many local lakes and rivers. As a resident of Austin, Jonathan thrived as a Realtor and had a passion for selling the “urban lifestyle”.
One of Jon’s loves besides his two dogs Emma and Maggie was traveling and visiting new places. Austria, Australia, Canada, Germany, and Japan were his favorites as well as the cities of Aspen, Chicago and New York.
Jonny will be sadly missed and his memory of quick-whit, good taste, and enjoyment of life will be carried on with his family, friends, and colleagues always.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jonathan’s name to Love, Molly Fund (www.thelovemollyfund.org), the Brain Research Foundation (www.thebrf.org) or Houston Methodist Leading Medicine (www.houstonmethodist.org).
You are invited to sign the online guest book and share memories of Jon for his family to cherish.
