

Jong Bok Lee, age 85, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, June 13, 2022. He was born on November 25, 1936 in Pyeongtaek, South Korea. He served the US government for 20 proud years. He immigrated to the US and worked tirelessly as a field engineer for NCR/AT&T. He retired after 20 faithful years. He was a prominent figure at his church, New Community Baptist. He was a loyal husband, father, and grandfather. When he wasn't spending time with family or friends, he enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was an amazing man, who along with his wife, at the age of 42, had the courage to begin a new life in the United States with 9 young children. He never met a stranger. He was always willing to help others and sacrificed to better the lives of his children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sei Koo Lee and Soon Kyo Han and 5 siblings. He is survived by his supportive wife of 62 years, Betty Kyutae Lee; daughter Sunni and son-in-law Cecil Carder, daughter Karen and son-in-law, Thukbir Makhani, daughter Julia and son-in-law, Greg Owens, daughter Brittany and son-in-law Adam Jew, daughter Kristy Jane and son-in-law Chahnhui Lee, daughter Emma and son-in-law Darrick Bub, daughter Diane and son-in-law, Clay Walker, son Troy and daughter-in-law Julia Amrock, daughter Jeanie and son-in-law Tom Kleinpeter, and 18 loving grandchildren. His legacy lives on in the lives of his children and grandchildren. Service will be at 10:30am then he will be laid to rest at 11am on Saturday, June 18, 2022.
