He was born in Havana, Cuba and lived in Houston since his youth. Jorge was a kind and gentle spirit who loved music and was a dedicated son to his parents Dr. Ignacio Asterio and Maria Cecilia Alpizar.
He was an avid guitar player enjoying teaching as much as performing. He also loved ballroom dancing and was active with a local dance group.
He is survived by his brothers Dr. Henry Alpizar and Mario Alpizar and his parents. He will be deeply missed.
