Jose Arroyo Gallardo

A visitation for Jose will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A visitation will occur Friday, November 12, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo Navigation, 2516 NAVIGATION BLVD, HOUSTON, TX 77003. A committal service will occur Friday, November 12, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.

Jose is survived by his 3 children Martha Josefina Ramirez(Gallardo), Gardenia Victoria Gallardo and Rafael Jose Gallardo. He is also survived by his grandchildren Arturo Luis Laureano Jr, Jeremiah Hernandez, Isabella Fontenot, Rufino Ramirez Jr, Joe Anthony Martinez Jr, Andrew Martinez, Jacob Martinez and Ethan Martinez. He is also survived by his brother Isabel Gallardo and Victoria Gallardo. Jose was born in Monterrey, Mexico on March 3, 1944 to the late Josefina Arroyo from Saltillo, Coahuila and the late Pedro Gallardo from Aguascalientes, AGS. Jose came to the US at a very young age where he began a life for himself and started work at Greenway Plaza in downtown Houston. He was a very honest, loving, hard working father who would do anything for his children and later on for his grandchildren. He never knew the word no when it came to his children or grandchildren.

Jose lost his fight to Pulmonary fibrosis

in the comfort of his home surrounded by his children and his brother Isabel Gallardo.

My father will dearly be missed and there is no doubt that anyone who knew him would know the big heart he had and the jokes we will miss hearing from him all the time. He is no longer suffering and has moved on to a better place. We love you daddy! Always and forever the Gallardo children.
